Hank, blog e via dicendo
A meno che voi non la stiate già odiando, perché puzza troppo di verità, ci sono milioni di motivi per amare Californication, la serie tv del canale via cavo Showtime.Uno di questi motivi è un bel monologo di Hank Moody, il protagonista, ben interpretato da un David Duchnovy un po' più bolso ma decisamente in parte. Un monologo che ci riguarda da vicino e che risponde alla domanda di un intervistatore radiofonico: qual è la tua ossessione più recente? (nota bene: Hank, scrittore alle prese con il fatidico blocco, ha preso, suo malgrado, a scrivere un blog per il magazine Hell-A). Questa la risposta.
Just the fact that people seem to be getting dumber and dumber. You know, I mean we have all this amazing technology and yet computers have turned into basically four figure wank machines. The internet was supposed to set us free, democratize us, but all it's really given us is Howard Dean's aborted candidacy and 24 hour a day access to kiddie porn. People...they don't write anymore - they blog. Instead of talking, they text, no punctuation, no grammar: LOL this and LMFAO that.
